I may mention this a lot. My little Missy loves TV. She can watch it all day. Literally. That’s the main problem we have in now a days. Electronics just pull kids in like a magnet and Mommy would go “noooooo” or just simply lets them because Mommy is just too tired.
Please tell me that I’m not the only one here. Haha. When little Missy says the
magic words, “Mommy, wanna watch HEEVE (TV).” My mind goes reeling, “I’ve done everything. We went out on errands and went to the park. She played with all of her toys, but she already watched some TV today. What else can she do?” Then, my mind always goes stump and let her go ahead watch some more TV. I hate that. So I created this marvelous list that helps me to look through to see what she can do before turning on electronics. Print it out so you can have it on your fridge or next to the TV before turning it on!
Another great idea that was shared by my friend, Lilly Moore: It can be a great game-like putting all the feasible options in a hat and picking one to see what to do next.
